WARWICK FARM (NSW)

TRACK RATINGS: SOFT 5 – Peno: 5.01 – Rail: +5m 1000m-W/P, +3m Remainder

SELECTIONS ARE BASED ON A SOFT 5 TRACK RATING

Race 1 – No: 3 INTRUSION
Fitter for recent runs; lightly raced. On Apr 1 good effort when 3rd 3L, Sempre Libera at Rosehill (2Y-0MW) 1200m. Two runs back after suffering interference near the 100m when 8th 6.6L, Tarquin at Rosehill (Pago Pago Stakes, 2YO-G2) 1200m. Very competitive.

Race 2 – No: 5 MAN OF DISTINCTION
Lightly raced and bears watching on a nice third last start. Last time out good run when he finished 3rd 0.2L, Nancy at Warwick Farm (3YB-66) 1300m. Two runs back he finished 1st 0.4L, Caupolican at Kembla Grange (Maiden) 1200m. Strong claims.

Race 3 – No: 3 COMMISSION
Fitter for recent runs, lightly raced. Last run he finished 2nd 1.5L, Silverball at Warwick Farm (BM-80) 1600m. On Mar 14 he finished 2nd 0.5L, Mahican at Rosehill (BM-80) 1350m. Hard to beat.

Race 4 – No: 10 WINTER SWEET
Expensive yearling 725K purchase at last years Easter sales and didn’t let her owners down on debut with a very easy win. Most recently was 1st 3L, Duke’s Call at Newcastle (3Y-Maiden) 1400m. Steps to city class midweek race where she’ll get the run of the race with inside draw. Claim helps for the apprentice and should prove hard to beat yet again. Respect this class.

Race 5 – No: 3 LOFIEL
Likes this distance range (3 from 5) and is holding form. Last start was 1st 1.5L, Spinning Diamond at Warwick Farm (FMB-70) 1400m. Two back good run when she finished 2nd 0.1L, Crown Moss at Rosehill (FMB-75) 1500m. Claim for Ms Jess Taylor all reads well she’ll be fighting out the finish again. Appeals strongly.

Race 6 – No: 1 NAJOOM
Tougher here then her last start winning effort. Last run was 1st 1L, Our Transfer at Newcastle (FM-CL1) 1200m. Two back was 1st 3L, Lipstick Lady at Hawkesbury (FM-Maiden) 1100m. Goes up a kilo for that win, winning form is good form. Inside gate helps her chances, be on speed and be hard to rundown in the straight. Go well.

Race 7 – No: 9 SKYLIMIT
First-up last time blundered at start but still won by 0.4L, Avonaco at Canterbury (3Y-Maiden) 1200m. Has been fitted up with two recent trial wins, looks to be a horse with real promise, comes from the strong Gai Waterhouse team. Hard to beat.
