Race 4 No: 2 MARENOSTROS
Tougher here on last start winning effort. Last time out he finished 1st 1.3L, Richard The First at Rosehill (BM-78) 1500m. Before that responded gamely after being checked near the 200m to place 3rd 2.7L, Hollywood Bound at Rosehill (BM-84) 1500m. Top chance here.

Race 5 No: 2 CENTRE PIVOT
Resuming last time good effort when he finished 4th 2.7L, Valcot at Canterbury (BM-75) 1250m. Has been fitted up with two recent trials, with his most recent winning at Rosehill when strong to the line. Top hope.

Race 7 No: 8 FELL SWOOP
Is a winner at this track; suited this distance; race well fresh. First-up was 4th 2.5L, Darciwood at Randwick (BM-80) 1000m. Second run last time powered home 1st 4.5L, Mitchell Road at Canberra (CL2) 1000m when favourite. Has the form.

Race 8 No: 14 DRAGON FLYER
Proven at this distance and was placed in this class of race last start. Last start he finished 2nd 1L, Forget at Rosehill (BM-75) 1350m. Two runs back was 5th 2.7L, Forget at Warwick Farm (BM-75) 1400m. Don’t take lightly.

Race 1 No: 4 HALLS CREEK
Lightly raced and could improve on last start effort. Last time out tightened when 4th 4.1L, Shotacross The Bow at Doomben (2YO) 1640m. Two runs back finished 5th 5.5L, Shotacross The Bow at Sunshine Coast (2YO) 1400m. Looks a danger.

Race 4 No: 3 L’ENTRECOTE
Last run blocked for a run when 4th 2.4L, Feltre at Doomben (CL6) 1640m. On Jul 4 blocked for a run when 2nd 2L, Feltre at Sunshine Coast (Class6) 1400m. Drawn favourably to get the perfect run in the race, only needs a touch of luck in the straight to be fighting out the finish.

Race 7 No: 12 SUIT
Harder here but warrants respect on consistent recent form. First-up looked good when he finished 2nd 0.2L, Headwater Country at Doomben (Class6) 1200m. Second run last time he was 3rd 1L, Generalife at Hawkesbury (BM-85) 1300m. The testing material.

Proven at this distance and could be ready to return to form. Last time out good run when 4th 0.9L, You Think So at Bendigo (BM-84) 2400m. Two starts back ran home well 1st 0.8L, King Cadel at Gawler (BM-72) 2100m. Competitive here.

Race 4 No: 2 TANKSTER
Likes this distance range (4 from 10). On Jul 18 was 1st 2L, Marco Polo at Morphettville Parks (BM-82) 1400m. Two runs back he finished 1st 1.3L, Bel Seal at Sale (BM-78) 1400m. Looks the winner.

Race 7 No: 1 ALABAMBA MISSILE
Is a three times winner at this track and suited by the distance. On Jul 18 blocked for a run when 2nd 1.8L, Pistolier at Morphettville Parks (BM-75) 1000m. On Jul 4 saddle slipped when 3rd 0.2L, Ready Sunshine at Morphettville Parks (BM-82) 1000m. Drops back in class for this event. Will test these.

Race 8 No: 8 JACKTHEGIANTSLAYER
Holding form very well and can atone here for last start narrow defeat. Last time out jumped awkwardly when 2nd 0.4L, Alysiana at Morphettville Parks (R-68) 1400m. Before that was 1st 2.8L, The Gee Train at Morphettville (Maiden) 1200m. Suited this race.
