CROWN OAKS DAY MAIL
Weather: FINE, Track: GOOD 4, Pen: 4.87, Rail: Out 3m Entire Circuit

Race 1 – 12:15PM Red Rock Deli Plate (1700m)
No: 1 HELL OR HIGHWATER – Appreciated stepping out to the mile bringing her 2nd win for the preparation. Holding her form well, drawn to receive the run of the race. Jockey sticks is another good sign she will measure up again. Go well.
(UNPLACED)

Race 2 – 12:55PM Twitter Trophy (1800m)
No: 12 THE CHAIRMAN – Has always promised plenty of promise and might be ready to go on with it off a soft win at Bendigo. Has improved with each run this prep, we can’t see no reason he can run well again. Both Totes.
(WINNER – $7.50)

Race 3 – 1:35PM Off The Track Subzero Challenge (1400m)
No: 1 ROCK FORTHE LADIES – Right at his peak for this and he races well in Melbourne when he was trained by Peter Moody. With a soft run midfield, he’ll be hard to hold out.
(UNPLACED)

Race 4 – 2:15PM 3AW Talking Melbourne Mile (1600m)
No: 1 REFULGENT – Model of consistency of late and was rewarded with well deserved win in the Country Cup at The Valley. Drawn to jump straight into a perfect position midfield or better to be saved for the last crack at them in the straight. Will be around the mark yet again.
(UNPLACED)

Race 5 – 2:55PM TCL QUHD TV Stakes (1600m)
NO: 5 RIGHTEOUS MATE – Was impressive hitting the line late with plenty of gusto to get the cash at his 2nd career start. Third up and he will be further improved with the added fitness and the step up in distance does look more in his favour. Inform jockey goes on is another tick. Trainer looking to get his first interstate win so he wouldn’t be bringing him here unless he thought it would be in a for strong showing. Eachway chance.
(PLACED 3RD – $2.50)

Race 6 – 3:35PM L’Oreal Paris Stakes (1400m)
No: 11 CLEARLY INNOCENT – Solid against the pattern last start (Caulfield) without threatening, fitter, third up where he has won at this pattern, steps out to 1400m where he has 100% record at this distance. Will be charging home late. Serious threat.
(UNPLACED)

Race 7 – 4:15PM Mumm Stakes (1000m)
No: 4 HELLBENT – Comes off a huge win at Caulfield beating Sheidel who has come out since winning twice (Derby Day). Suited on the firm track, with speed on up front he’ll be tough to hold out. Look for him charging home late. Go close.
(PLACED 3RD – $1.40)

Race 8 – 5:00PM Crown Oaks (2500m)
No: 1 YANKEE ROSE – Take out a freak in Winx and she was close to winning a Cox Plate as a 3yo filly. That’s outstanding form for a set weights as the 2nd horse Hartnell finished 3rd in Tuesday Melbourne Cup. On level weight in a fillies race is clearly the one to beat.
(UNPLACED)

Race 9 – 5:45PM Crown Resorts Plate (1100m)
No: 4 SPRIGHT – This filly has come back in outstanding form this preparation winning her last two in super fashion. Looks a suitable race where there appears to be good speed up front to suit the back markers where she’ll be charging over the top of them. Hard to beat.
(WINNER – $4.60)
