Welcome to OneSelection2Win Weekend Racing Mail for Saturday 5th November where we have selections for Canterbury, Doomben and Morphettville.

Please check our other post for all Emirates Stakes Day Racing Mail for Flemington.

CANTERBURY (NSW)
TRACK – (GOOD 3)

RACE 3 No: 3 MR MANHATTAN – Three wins two seconds from last five and an impressive winner at Warwick Farm when resuming. 33-days between runs but kept up to the mark with an easy trial at Warwick Farm. Looks to run his best races when fresh. Big threat.
(WINNER – $3.80)

RACE 6 No: 5 SIR PLUSH – Didn’t really appreciate the soft ground chasing home Reincarnate at Randwick last start. Meets that galloper better at the weights and can turn the tables on a dry track. Third up now, so he should be ready fitness wise. Go close.
(PLACED 3RD)

RACE 7 No: 4 RELGIFY – Run down late in both runs this time round. Just needs a good track to return to the winner’s circle, with the advantage of the rail draw should be on speed and be hard to run down. Ready to win.
(PLACED 2ND)

***

EAGLE FARM (QLD)
TRACK – (GOOD 4)

RACE 7 No: 6 PROMPT RETURN – Won well at first try in open company (Eagle Farm). He does seem more effective at Doomben, so that can only be a plus racing here, he’s fit, in form and should be hard to hold off.
(WINNER – $3.60)

RACE 8 No: 6 LORD COCONUTS – In good form since resuming with two wins and very close 2nd from his three starts this time round. Will settle midfield in the run and does appear he will get the perfect run in transit. Just need a touch of luck in the straight to get clear running room to be fighting out the finish. Go close.
(UNPLACED)

***

MORPHETTVILLE (SA)
TRACK – (GOOD 4)

RACE 5 No: 2 CASINO WIZARD – Two runs this time in have both been terrific, really hitting the line strongly late on each occasion, including last start despite covering a stack of extra ground t’out. Must rate a big chance again given just even luck in running.
(PLACED 2ND)

RACE 7 No: 5 ROYAL RUMBLE – Handy galloper that showing signs he is now ready to peak, game effort in Gawler Cup when placed 2nd. No tougher here and must also be noted did win only previous run this track/distance. Win won’t shock.
(PLACED 3RD)

GOOD LUCK & GOOD PUNTING
