OneSelection2WinSaturdayRacingMail

Welcome to OneSelection2Win Saturday Racing Mail for Saturday 17th June where we have come with our mail for each of the main meetings around the country.

ROSEHILL (NSW)
TRACK: HEAVY (8) – RAIL: True

RACE 3 No: 2 ZAMEX – Soft win here in the Highway two weeks back. He will improve off the run and the steps up in trip that will suit. Trainer Matt Dunn is building a terrific record in the Highways and we expect that to continue. Winning chance.

RACE 4 No: 2 UPSCALE – Hit the line strongly fresh here in open company to just miss the placings (4th). Form has been franked with The Monstar (3rd) winning last Saturday at Randwick. Strips fitter and out to the 1200m suits. Top show.

RACE 8 No: 7 CARZOFF – Former import hit the line strongly in his first start at Warwick Farm at the mile. Fitter, extra distance looks to be more to his liking. Hugh sticks is a good sign, can go one better here. Hard to beat.

***

MOONEE VALLEY (VIC)
TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: +3m Entire Circuit

RACE 4 No: 11 ROYAL RUBY – Racing in excellent form this preparation in some handy three-year-old races. Meets an even bunch of older mares here and should sit handy to the speed in a race that looks to have limited speed. Super chance to go back to back.

RACE 7 No: 8 COLDSTONE – Luckless with the big weight and being trapped three and four wide the trip to go down narrowly. Drawn to receive gun run and be saved for the last crack at them in the straight. Ready to win.

***

IPSWICH (QLD)
TRACK: (SOFT 7) – RAIL: True

RACE 2 No: 13 ASSERTORY – Has been a model of consistency being in the money all four runs here. Loves the sting out of ground so conditions won’t be a factor. Both Totes.

RACE 6 No: 9 HOT MONEY – In top form winning three of his last four starts. Leading rider goes on is a real plus, should be camped on speed and with the nice weight drop (5kg) should stake his claim again. In form likes the wet and will take a power of beating.

***

MORPHETTVILLE (SA)
TRACK: (GOOD 4) – Rail: Out 2m 1800m-1200m; True the Remainder

RACE 2 No: 2 SUPER HAZE – Dominant winner here in similar grade last time when leading throughout for a strong win. Has drawn to get the same run throughout. Take a power of beating. Go Close.

RACE 5 No: 4 NEAPOLITAN – Resumes here and does have a great record fresh. Fitted up with a recent trial (Morphettville) to have her ready for strong first up performance. Watch for any betting moves.

***

ROSEHILL (NSW)
RACE 8 No: 7 CARZOFF – Former import hit the line strongly in his first start at Warwick Farm at the mile. Fitter, extra distance looks to be more to his liking. Hugh sticks is a good sign, can go one better here. Hard to beat.

RACE 5 No: 8 BOOKER – $230K purchase at the Inglis Premier Sale. Liked the way she sped around in a Flemington jump out a few days ago. Stable can find a early debut 2YO. Big watch on any strong betting moves. (WINNER – $6.30)

HAWKESBURY (NSW)
TRACK: GOOD (4) – RAIL: TRUE

RACE 1 No: 6 GREAT GLEN – Import who hasn’t been far from the winner in his two Australian starts. Only overseas win was at 2300m so getting up to right distance. Goes in everything.

RACE 5 No: 6 ASTARA – The Snowden camp put the polish on this New Zealander that has been quite impressive in her two trials. She races up on the speed and will give them something to catch here. Looks to have a class edge.

RACE 6 No: 2 ARTISTRY – Honest mare that is suited at the set weights and penalties. Finally gets a dry track and will be suited third up at 1300m. Looks very hard to beat with champion jockey Hugh Bowman in the saddle. Hard to beat.

RACE 8 No: 6 SPECTROSCOPE – Dominant winner of the Doncaster Prelude and then found himself too far back in the Doncaster. He meets a much easier field and if he runs like he did in the Doncaster Prelude here he’ll take beating.

***

CAULFIELD (VIC)
TRACK: (SOFT 6) – RAIL: +12m Entire Circuit

RACE 3 No: 11 MR SNEAKY – Hard to ignore his last start win against Theanswermyfriend. That race has produced three subsequent winners since. Looks to

RACE 8 No: 1 CHARMED HARMONY – Backed to his best last start when going down narrowly in Group 3 company.

RACE 9 No: 9 CURRAGH – Right at his top for this being third run in this preparation and he does loves a wet track. A soft run midfield or better will have him tough to beat.

***

EAGLE FARM (QLD)
TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: +1m Entire Course

RACE 4 No: 1 OURS TO KEEP – One of the top two-year-olds from earlier in the season that can be forgiven for his only defeat when he drew the wrong spot in the Magic Millions. He does map beautifully looks ready to go after his soft trial win. Strong first up showing expected on the cards.

RACE 5 No: 3 BILLY THE KID – Resuming. Showed promise last preparation and ran a distant 3rd to Winning Rupert over this trip here before break. May need longer but trialled well and can show up fresh. Monitor any betting moves.

Welcome to OneSelection2Win Saturday Racing Mail for Saturday 22nd April where we have come with our mail for each of the main meetings around the country.

RANDWICK (NSW)
TRACK: HEAVY (8) – RAIL: +2m Entire Course

RACE 3 No: 3 CAERLESS CHOICE – Won his first four career starts and far from disgraced when fourth in the Provincial Championship Final last start. Looks suited stepping up to the mile and right in the mix.

RACE 4 No: 8 RICHARD OF YORKE – Sandown winner this trip two runs back before finishing runner-up at Bendigo last start. Likely to be in the finish again with a soft run from the gate. Handle all track conditions. Hard to beat.

RACE 6 No: 9 GRAND DREAMER – Melbourne raider that produced a strong run fresh and his second-up form is terrific. He gets conditions to suit and the trip looks ideal. Winning chance.

RACE 7 No: 6 NIETA – Nieta looked a Group horse in the making last preparation and going off her two trials leading in she has only improved. Unbeaten first-up and won three from four at the distance, she looks the bet on the card.

***

CAULFIELD (VIC)
TRACK: (SOFT 5) – RAIL: +8m Entire Circuit

RACE 4 No: 9 RUTHVEN – Huge drop in grade off his past few starts. Right at his peak still, handles all track conditions he’s the one to beat from the good gate. Ready to win.

RACE 6 No: 1 FRENCH EMOTION – We are backing up from last Saturday when racing without luck. The flashing light runner is always well backed next run and this mare certainly fits the bill.

RACE 8 No: 13 KEN’S DREAM – Big win last start when ridden quieter after missing the kick badly. This is a touch stronger but if he can get into the three-wide line approaching the home turn he can run a race. Will be flying late. Eachway chance.

***

DOOMBEN (QLD)
TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: +1.5m Entire Course

RACE 1 No: 1 EMERALD CITY – Will find this easier than Toowoomba Cup. Was very consistent last preparation stringing together a few wins and has won both starts at this track. Should be in the finish now that has had few runs under his belt.

RACE 4 No: 4 LAND OFFICE – Improved by recent racing and fought on well at Toowoomba. Track, class and distance suit. Should be prominent throughout.

***

MORPHETTVILLE (SA)
TRACK: (SOFT 5) – Rail: +10m 1200m-W/P, +5m Remainder. Sectional 613m>

RACE 3 No: 7 SCHISM Had to sit outside the speed last time when brave in defeat. Has drawn far better here then last start where she was ridden outside the speed from a wide gate to go down narrowly. Will be in this for along way.

RACE 6 No: 6 VIDDORA Big effort to get so close in the lead-up after getting a mile back fresh. Fitter and has drawn to settle closer in the run. Watch for him to be charging home late.

RACE 4 No: 9 POMELO – Has won four of last five including the Gosford Qualifier at Rosehill when she led all the way for a comfortable win. Could finish with the run of the race the way the map shapes up and the one to beat again.

RACE 6 No: 8 WAKING MOMENT – Looked a likely Oaks prospect coming from well back in the field to win the Adrian Knox last Saturday in fine fashion. Will be out the back and be saved for the last shot at them in the straight. Each way chance with the odds on offer.

RACE 9 No: 3 HEAVENS ABOVE – Hit the line strongly to nail Silent Sedition late in the Coolmore. Meets that galloper better at the weights and has won at the mile. Definite winning chance again.

RACE 6  No: 14 SCHISM – Since returning from her spell she has been very impressive winning her last 2 wins at (Mornington &  Ballarat).  We can’t see no reason why she continue on her win in way. Hard To Beat.
