ROSEHILL (NSW)
TRACK: HEAVY (8) – RAIL: True

RACE 3 No: 2 ZAMEX – Soft win here in the Highway two weeks back. He will improve off the run and the steps up in trip that will suit. Trainer Matt Dunn is building a terrific record in the Highways and we expect that to continue. Winning chance.

RACE 4 No: 2 UPSCALE – Hit the line strongly fresh here in open company to just miss the placings (4th). Form has been franked with The Monstar (3rd) winning last Saturday at Randwick. Strips fitter and out to the 1200m suits. Top show.

RACE 8 No: 7 CARZOFF – Former import hit the line strongly in his first start at Warwick Farm at the mile. Fitter, extra distance looks to be more to his liking. Hugh sticks is a good sign, can go one better here. Hard to beat.

TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: +3m Entire Circuit

RACE 4 No: 11 ROYAL RUBY – Racing in excellent form this preparation in some handy three-year-old races. Meets an even bunch of older mares here and should sit handy to the speed in a race that looks to have limited speed. Super chance to go back to back.

RACE 7 No: 8 COLDSTONE – Luckless with the big weight and being trapped three and four wide the trip to go down narrowly. Drawn to receive gun run and be saved for the last crack at them in the straight. Ready to win.

TRACK: (SOFT 7) – RAIL: True

RACE 2 No: 13 ASSERTORY – Has been a model of consistency being in the money all four runs here. Loves the sting out of ground so conditions won’t be a factor. Both Totes.

RACE 6 No: 9 HOT MONEY – In top form winning three of his last four starts. Leading rider goes on is a real plus, should be camped on speed and with the nice weight drop (5kg) should stake his claim again. In form likes the wet and will take a power of beating.

TRACK: (GOOD 4) – Rail: Out 2m 1800m-1200m; True the Remainder

RACE 2 No: 2 SUPER HAZE – Dominant winner here in similar grade last time when leading throughout for a strong win. Has drawn to get the same run throughout. Take a power of beating. Go Close.

RACE 5 No: 4 NEAPOLITAN – Resumes here and does have a great record fresh. Fitted up with a recent trial (Morphettville) to have her ready for strong first up performance. Watch for any betting moves.

TRACK: GOOD (3) – RAIL: +6m Entire Circuit

RACE 2 No: 1 NEW UNIVERSE – Winner of both Australian starts for the Chris Waller stable. Continues to work through the grades. Looks to be good speed up front and this will suit. Watch for him charging home late. The one to beat again.

RACE 8 No: 6 SNOOPY – Runner up at Scone when resuming to the smart Clearly Innocent who since has proven the form with a terrific Group 1 Darley Kingsford Smith at Eagle Farm. Strips fitter here and is drawn to receive the run of the race. This looks no harder, Hard to beat.

RACE 9 No: 11 LOUIE SEA KAY – Kept fresh since placing at Hawkesbury last start behind the inform galloper So Willie (R7). Maps well and should get the last crack at them for the run home. Ready to win. Both Totes.

RACE 8 No: 15 OVERBERG – Racing in peak form of late without winning. A soft run midfield or better, on the limit will have him fighting out the finish again. Ready to win.

RACE 4 No: 1 PREFERMENT – Battled on well in Hollindale to be beaten on 2 lengths when resuming. Will strip fitter and could set his own tempo up front and be hard to run down. Top jockey sticks is a real plus. Winning chance.

RACE 8 No: 8 BONNY O’REILLY – Promising and has won both outings this preparation in fine fashion. Rises in class but should get a good run from gate. Handles all track conditions. Mare on the rise. Hard to beat.

TRACK: SOFT (6) – RAIL: True

RACE 1 No: 5 LORD CECIL – Won at Muswellbrook on debut before finding trouble in the Ken Russell at the Gold Coast last start still to be placed. Big show stepping up to this distance where he will appreciate the added journey. Watch for him charging home late. Winning chance.

RACE 6 No: 10 SISKEN – Winner of all three runs this preparation. Continues to raise the bar at every run. Handles all conditions and can’t see no reason she won’t be fighting out the finish yet again.

RACE 9 No: 9 WAYANKA – Unbeaten as a gelding this preparation and the form around him has held up well. Overcame trouble in a terrific win last time out. Up in trip to the 1400m will suit. Winning chance.

TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: True Entire Circuit

RACE 6 No: 10 PLEIN CIEL – Did enough first-up giving away the big start on a heavy track at the Warrnambool carnival. Fitter here and the bigger track suits. Gets on the firmer track will be in his favour, he’ll be hard to hold out.

RACE 7 No: 2 PEDRENA – Strong through the line last start when getting the prize, steps up to mile should suit. Even luck slotting in midfield in the first half of the race has her hard to beat again.

TRACK: (HEAVY 8) – RAIL: True Entire Circuit

RACE 1 No: 6 BURNING PASSION – Close-up when resuming at Hawkesbury and has benefited from subsequent trial. Sydney form was strong last preparation and should be up to this with the forecast of a rain affected surface. Hard to beat.

RACE 7 No:6 CLEARLY INNOCENT – Returned to form at Scone in fine fashion with a super win, has won both starts at this distance. Has a great record in the wet a another plus. Watch for him late. Can win again.

RACE 2 No: 6 ECKHART – Showed a great turn of foot at his second start across the border, really let down well in the heavy conditions. May get the track to suit with the likelihood of a wet track.

RACE 3 No: 1 SO YOU TOO – Back against her own age group here suits, she has been a model of consistency, should settle mid-field and charge home late. Looks to one of the better bets for the day. Hard to beat.

RACE 7 No: 7 NEW TIPPERARY – Hasn’t had much luck in four runs this preparation all on wet tracks. Set to improve sharply here on a drier surface and loves this track. Ready to win. (UNPLACED)

RACE 9 No: 4 BONNY O’REILLY – Resumes on the back of a Warwick Farm trial win. Wasn’t far from the winner fresh at Canterbury resuming last campaign and looks ready for a strong first up performance. (WINNER – $3.00)

RACE 2 No: 4 LUCQUES – Should be ready to find his best now being third run in this current preparation. Beaten by smart one on Anzac Day where he finished 2nd (Third horse 1.5 length away) only has to bring that form here to prove hard to beat. (PLACED -3RD)

RACE 5 No: 8 BOOKER – $230K purchase at the Inglis Premier Sale. Liked the way she sped around in a Flemington jump out a few days ago. Stable can find a early debut 2YO. Big watch on any strong betting moves. (WINNER – $6.30)

RACE 7 No: 3 WIDGEE TURF – Ran a big race off the break last week. Backs up quickly but his is his best trip. He’ll be hard to hold out. (UNPLACED)

HAWKESBURY (NSW)
TRACK: GOOD (4) – RAIL: TRUE

RACE 1 No: 6 GREAT GLEN – Import who hasn’t been far from the winner in his two Australian starts. Only overseas win was at 2300m so getting up to right distance. Goes in everything.

RACE 5 No: 6 ASTARA – The Snowden camp put the polish on this New Zealander that has been quite impressive in her two trials. She races up on the speed and will give them something to catch here. Looks to have a class edge.

RACE 6 No: 2 ARTISTRY – Honest mare that is suited at the set weights and penalties. Finally gets a dry track and will be suited third up at 1300m. Looks very hard to beat with champion jockey Hugh Bowman in the saddle. Hard to beat.

RACE 8 No: 6 SPECTROSCOPE – Dominant winner of the Doncaster Prelude and then found himself too far back in the Doncaster. He meets a much easier field and if he runs like he did in the Doncaster Prelude here he’ll take beating.

RACE 3 No: 11 MR SNEAKY – Hard to ignore his last start win against Theanswermyfriend. That race has produced three subsequent winners since. Looks to

RACE 8 No: 1 CHARMED HARMONY – Backed to his best last start when going down narrowly in Group 3 company.

RACE 9 No: 9 CURRAGH – Right at his top for this being third run in this preparation and he does loves a wet track. A soft run midfield or better will have him tough to beat.

TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: +1m Entire Course

RACE 4 No: 1 OURS TO KEEP – One of the top two-year-olds from earlier in the season that can be forgiven for his only defeat when he drew the wrong spot in the Magic Millions. He does map beautifully looks ready to go after his soft trial win. Strong first up showing expected on the cards.

RACE 5 No: 3 BILLY THE KID – Resuming. Showed promise last preparation and ran a distant 3rd to Winning Rupert over this trip here before break. May need longer but trialled well and can show up fresh. Monitor any betting moves.

RANDWICK (NSW)
TRACK: HEAVY (8) – RAIL: +4m 1600m-W/Post; +3m the Remainder

RACE 3 No: 4 SERENA BAY – Had plenty on a provincial field at Goulburn last start resuming to make it three wins from four. Still scope for improvement here, will be on pace throughout the race. Hard to go past. 

RACE 4 No: 9 POMELO – Has won four of last five including the Gosford Qualifier at Rosehill when she led all the way for a comfortable win. Could finish with the run of the race the way the map shapes up and the one to beat again.

RACE 6 No: 8 WAKING MOMENT – Looked a likely Oaks prospect coming from well back in the field to win the Adrian Knox last Saturday in fine fashion. Will be out the back and be saved for the last shot at them in the straight. Each way chance with the odds on offer. 

RACE 9 No: 3 HEAVENS ABOVE – Hit the line strongly to nail Silent Sedition late in the Coolmore. Meets that galloper better at the weights and has won at the mile. Definite winning chance again.

RACE 2 No: 13 ROCKSTAR REBEL – Lightly race colt from the strong Darren Weir stables ready to get back in the winners circle. Fitter 3rd up and looking for this distance range now. Ready to win.

RACE 4 No:  4 FONTEIN LAD – Good effort at his latest run when trapped deep throughout to be run down late. No problem with the trip from the good gate as he does get the run of the race, should be peaking for this race he’s one of the main hopes. Big chance.

RACE 5 No: 6 GUN CASE – Resuming here and does have great record fresh. Distance suits. Go close.

TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: True Entire Course.

RACE 7 No: 6 DREAM FINNISH – Racing well over shorter trips since resuming. Hitting peak third run in, trained here and has been set for this. Should be hard to hold off. Go close.

RACE 9 No: 9 LAND OFFICE – Had support and battled on when resuming. Better suited this distance and has a good second-up record. Should be prominent.

RACE 6  No: 14 SCHISM – Since returning from her spell she has been very impressive winning her last 2 wins at (Mornington &  Ballarat).  We can’t see no reason why she continue on her win in way. Hard To Beat.

ROSEHILL (NSW)
TRACK: HEAVY (10) – RAIL: +3m Entire Circuit

RACE 3 No: 1 TACTICAL ADVANTAGE – Smart three-year-old that keeps raising the bar and again he has found a suitable race here. Has been kept up to the mark with a recent trial, and looks set to continue on his winning ways. Hard to beat.

RACE 6 No: 2 GINGERNUTS – Been impressive at his last 3 starts in New Zealand including the Group 1 NZ Derby (2400m) where he was slowly away to find the long strongly to win by a length. Does have good wet form back at home. Slight concern he has to come back to the (2000m), will be finding the line strongly. Both Totes. (WINNER – $7.00)

RACE 7 No: 12 SHE WILL REIGN – Explosive in her first three wins and lost no admirers with a brave second in the Reisling on a very heavy surface when the winner found the fast lane on the outside fence. Has won twice on wet surfaces (Soft 8 & Heavy 9). Expecting her to bounce right back here as we will know where the best place to be on the track come race time. Winning Chance. (WINNER – $8.50)

RACE 10 No: 13 POMELO – She has come back bigger and stronger this campaign. Very impressive on the clock first-up and she only gets better as she gets to her right distance range. Hard to beat here in Provincial grade and also in Championships final. (WINNER – $3.20)

TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: True Entire Circuit

RACE 2 No: 7 BASTILLE – Two from two and looks a smart type. Gets a good jockey change here and will get a great run in the box seat behind the favourite. On straightening, he should have the turn of foot to put the race away. Can continue on his his winning ways. Big threat. (PLACED – 2ND)

RACE 5 No: 6 TOSEN STARDOM – Made gun stablemate (Black Heart Bart) work to beat him fresh. Has won 2nd up twice, fitter for that recent run and the step up to the mile suits. Starts short since the stablemate has been scratched. Ready to win. (PLACED – 2ND)

RACE 7 No: 10 CHATEAU CHEVAL – Excellent win last start where she beat smart horse Handsome Thief. She sprinted very quickly up the straight and if she repeats that performance I think she can be winning again here. (PLACED – 3RD)

RACE 2 No: 7 LIEDER – Rarely far away in his races. Can find it hard to win but suited this distance and will get every chance with Damian Browne to ride. Ready to win. (WINNER – $3.70)
