OneSelection2WinSaturdayRacingMail

Welcome to OneSelection2Win Saturday Racing Mail for Saturday 2nd December where we have come up with the better bets for the four main meetings around the country.

ROSEHILL GARDENS (NSW)
TRACK: GOOD (4) – RAIL: +3m Entire Circuit.

RACE 3 No: 3 IMPERIAL AVIATOR – A really smart first-up run and he looks like he’ll improve with the extra distance and fitness. A few of these are well into their preparation so he could be the fresh horse that really puts them to the sword. Big chance. (SP: $3.80)

RACE 5 No: 6 SEDANZER – Impressive winner fresh when coming from mid-field. Natural improvement in fitness should see the mare cherry ripe for another forward showing. Track remains on the good side will give this a real shake. Winning chance. (SP: $3.20)

RACE 6 No: 4 SAVAPINSKI – Lightly raced mare that led and won the Matriarch easily at her first go at 2000m. Nothing to suggest she won’t do similar here to an inferior field. Stable is airborne and she looks really hard to beat. (SP: $2.20)

***

SANDOWN (VIC)
TRACK: SOFT (7) – RAIL: +8m Entire Circuit.

RACE 4 No: 6 VINLAND – Good maiden win first-up, then jumped straight into a Group II where was competitive. Sure to relish this huge class drop and should be set to peak third-up. (SP: $2.35)

RACE 6 No: 8 SPRIGHTLY LASS – Lightly raced 4yo mare unbeaten in all three runs. Gave nothing else a chance to win last start at Moonee Valley. Beautifully placed here only half-kilo over the limit. Drawn well to get every chance to keep her record in tact. Hard to beat. (SP: $2.70)

RACE 8 No: 9 NIGHT’S WATCH – Just missed as favourite last start at Flemington and in strong form with three wins from six attempts this campaign. Likely to get a nice run behind the speed to get every chance to go one better. Go close. (SP: $2.40)

***

DOOMBEN (QLD)
TRACK: SOFT (7) – RAIL: True Entire Course.

RACE 1 No: 1 MY GUILLANO – Can’t knock the form of this 5yo gelding winning two in a row at Doomben and has multiple wins at the track. Handles all surfaces any the wet track will suit. Hard to beat. (SP: $3.40)

RACE 5 No: 3 PRETTY FAST – Has won three in a row this preparation and can’t see no reason why she can’t make it four on the trot. Thetrainer and jockey combo are deadly. (SP: $2.40)

***

MORPHETTVILLE (SA)
TRACK: GOOD (4) – Rail: +6 metres Entire. Sectional 608m

RACE 3 No: 4 SUDDEN WEALTH – Bolted in last start at Morphettville when first up. Loves this track winning three times at the track. Should fight out the finish again. (SP: $3.30)

***

ASCOT (WA)
TRACK: GOOD (4) – Rail: +6 metres Entire. Sectional 608m

RACE 4 No: 3 THE RIVER – Won impressively when resuming from a spell last start and this race looks to lack some depth. He has trialled well since his last run and should get home with the services of William Pike. (SP: $1.95)

RACE 7 No: 9 STATE SOLICITOR – Last start had no right to win yet his determination found a way. He is drawn well here and has William Pike in the saddle. Hard to go past the locally trained gelding. (SP: $3.10)

***

ROSEHILL (NSW)
RACE 5 No: 6 SEDANZER – Impressive winner fresh when coming from mid-field. Natural improvement in fitness should see the mare cherry ripe for another forward showing. Track remains on the good side will give this a real shake. Winning chance. (SP: $3.20)

SANDOWN (VIC)
RACE 6 No: 8 SPRIGHTLY LASS – Lightly raced 4yo mare unbeaten in all three runs. Gave nothing else a chance to win last start at Moonee Valley. Beautifully placed here only half-kilo over the limit. Drawn well to get every chance to keep her record in tact. Hard to beat. (SP: $2.70)

ASCOT (WA)
RACE 4 No: 3 THE RIVER – Won impressively when resuming from a spell last start and this race looks to lack some depth. He has trialled well since his last run and should get home with the services of William Pike. (SP: $1.95)

RACE 2 No: 8 REKINDLED FORCE – Unbeaten at his his first two career starts at (Muswellbrook maiden / Newcastle BM64), stable don’t come to town unless they have as serious threat. Looks to be the logical leader in the race, no weight with 1.5kg allowance may prove hard to run down. Winning chance. (SP: $5.00)

RACE 7 No: 2 IN TIMES OF WAR – Chris Waller trained mare that is a model of consistency with two wins, nine seconds from eleven career starts. Maps well where she’ll track the early leaders (Slow Burn / Gwenneth) throughout the run. Only needs to find a half length to be in the winners circle again. Go close. (SP: $4.60)

***

FLEMINGTON (VIC)
TRACK: GOOD (4) – RAIL: True Entire Circuit

RACE 1 No: 11 OCTABELLO – Mick Price trained galloper scored a terrific win here two starts back, total forgive run in the Listed Gothic Stakes where he couldn’t get any clear running room for the run home. Drawn to receive the run of the race with the inside gate, just needs a touch of luck in the straight to stake his claims. (SP: $7.50)

RACE 2 No: 8 TEODORA – Nice effort at Caulfield when trapped wide throughout the run to a creditable fourth behind the smart Pinot in Group 3 company. Go on two previous starts where she duly saluted going through the grades. Big plus is Dean Yendall back onboard as he was the jockey on where she won at Ararat and Bendigo. Chance in an open event. Eachway. (SP: $7.50)

RACE 4 No: 2 HARLEM – Won the Group 3 Naturalism Stakes three runs back and wasn’t far from the Caulfield Cup winner last start. The blinkers come off, drops back in grade and rates as one of the better chances for the last race to qualify for Tuesday Melbourne Cup. Hard to beat. (SP: $3.90)

RACE 5 No: 5 VIRIDINE – Unbeaten Poet’s Voice colt for the James Cummings / Godolphin team. Has taken all before him with a quality Group 2 Roman Consul Stakes two length win. Facing his toughest test to date but can’t knock winning form. Go close. (SP: $7.50)

RACE 7 No: 12 GREYCLIFFE – Lightly-raced and coming out of a Benchmark 64 but really liked the way he won at Seymour. Was strong through the line winning by four lengths and being by Tavistock, the extra distance won’t be a problem. Big chance. (SP: $9.50)

RACE 9 No: 15 MAN FROM UNCLE – Promising 4yo gelding set for his best campaign yet. Has looked terrific at the trials and with just 53kg on his back will prove hard to beat, he will be attacking the line late too keep his fresh record intact. Go close. (SP: $8.50)

***

DOOMBEN (QLD)
TRACK: GOOD (4) – RAIL: +7m Entire Circuit

RACE 3 No: 5 CAPETOWN HUSSY – Looking for a hatrick after winning two in a row at Doomben and Gold Coast. Multiple wins at the track. Rates as one of the key chances. (SP: $2.70)

RACE 5 No: 1 PERFECT DARE – Very good horse resuming for Matty Dunn stable. Trialled brilliantly on his home track Murwillumbah to have him ready for strong first up showing. Looks to be plenty of speed where he’ll track it throughout to be saved for the last crack at them in the home straight. Monitor any betting moves. (SP: $5.00)

***

MORPHETTVILLE PARKS (SA)
TRACK: GOOD (4) – Rail: +3m entire circuit

RACE 3 No: 3 LADY OF CREBILLY – Smart filly from the Phillip Stokes team that proved far too strong here on the Parks track. Peaking now third up, track specialist hard to beat. (SP: $2.20)

RACE 7 No: 11 EMBECEE LIL – Progressive mare that was super impressive winning here two weeks back when ridden a treat. Can’t see no reason why she can’t be fighting out the finish again. Will be ridden of the speed and will be flying late. Major threat. (SP: $3.40)

***

ROSEHILL (NSW)
RACE 1 No: 4 NEUTRALITY – First starter from the strong Peter & Paul Snowden team and does look ready to go following convincing trial win at Wyong. Watch for any strong betting moves. Big threat on debut. (SP: $2.90)

Welcome to OneSelection2Win Saturday Racing Mail for Saturday 15th July where we have come with our mail for each of the main meetings around the country.

ROSHILL (NSW)
TRACK: GOOD (4) – RAIL: +6.5m Entire Circuit

RACE 1 No: 4 SIEGE OF QUEBEC – Led all the way to win at Beaumont on debut with a god tough win when challenged inside the last furlong. Should find the front again and dictate the speed without a problem. The extra distance shouldn’t pose a problem and with the services of T.Berry should prove hard to beat.

RACE 7 No: 3 BURNING PASSION – In a race without much pace, I expect Burning Passion to get the run of the race. He was too good for them in Group 3 company at Doomben. Should get off to a winning start for the new stable. Hard to beat.

RACE 9 No: 4 FLOW – Talented three year old for Godolphin and James Cummings who should measure up here off his last 2 starts with a win at Kembla then nice effort to run third at the Sunshine Coast Guineas when trapped wide. Can be fighting out the finish here. Go close.

***

CAULFIELD (VIC)
TRACK: GOOD (4) – RAIL: +10m Entire Circuit

RACE 1 No: 3 DATA POINT – Right at his top being fourth run into this prep. Drops nicely in grade for this opening race of the card. He’s been a touch costly of late but does look tough to beat again in this class. Winning chance.

RACE 6 No: 6 ENIGNAM – Closed off late in a similar race last start here, has improvement and fitness on his side now. A soft run in the middle stages should see him running home late. Ready to win.

RACE 7 No: 7 SUPIDO – Resuming. Lightly raced galloper with a nice record. Sprints well fresh and should give a great account today. Looks to find a race with good speed up front to finish it off late. Starts short and should be winning.

***

SUNSHINE COAST (QLD)
TRACK: SOFT (6) – RAIL: True Entire course

RACE 1 No: 2 TUMBLER – Looks extremely well placed to make a winning return. Her overall form is terrific apart from a failure on the bottomless Eagle Farm track early in the carnival. Tuned up for this with a good recent trial. Go close.

RACE 7 No: 4 MY DIAMANTINE – Caught eye taking a heap of ground off the Grafton Cup winner last start in the Caloundra Cup. She will be hitting the line hard at the end of 3200m.

***

MORPHETTVILLE PARKS (SA)
TRACK: SOFT (6) – Rail: +9m 1000 to WP; 6m Remainder. Sectional 612m

RACE 2 No: 5 NODOUBTABOUTIT – Looked sharp in a recent trial win here a couple of weeks back. Has drawn to lead or sit in outside Irish Mint in the run. No weight with the 1.5kg claim may prove the winning move. Races well fresh. Hard to beat.

RACE 7 No: 2 ITZ INVINCIBLE – Loves racing here with over a month ago, freshened since and he is very speedy and will be trying to lead all the way. Will have plenty of support and he’ll be hard to catch. Big chance.

***

ROSEHILL (NSW)
RACE 7 No: 3 BURNING PASSION – In a race without much pace, I expect Burning Passion to get the run of the race. He was too good for them in Group 3 company at Doomben. Should get off to a winning start for the new stable. Hard to beat.

CAULFIELD (VIC)
RACE 6 No: 6 ENIGNAM – Closed off late in a similar race last start here, has improvement and fitness on his side now. A soft run in the middle stages should see him running home late. Ready to win.

RANDWICK (NSW)
TRACK: HEAVY (9) – RAIL: True Position

RACE 2 No: 2 EUSEBIO – Has hit his straps this preparation winning three on the trot very impressively including the Canberra Guineas last time out. Steps up to the mile shouldn’t cause no problems at all. Looks to be a horse on the up. Hard to beat.

RACE 5 No: 3 RAIMENT – Has only missed a place once in nine starts and four times a winner including an impressive on-speed win in the Birthday Card last start. Is a progressive 3yo filly, handles any sort of ground and drawn well to get the dream run. Winning chance.

RACE 7 No: 2 GINGERNUTS – Follow up from his very impressive at Rosehill and he should only improve over the 2400 metres. He is a bombproof horse that can handle the wet and will be too strong for his rivals in a slog. Hard to beat.

RACE 9 No: 19 SPECTROSCOPE – Has recorded two effortless win since arriving in Australia and he has an enormous amount of upside. The wide barrier draw is not a disadvantage in the Doncaster Mile and he is the horse that is weighted to win. Eachway chance all day.

RACE 10 No: 3 MULL OVER – Strong Newcastle maiden winner at her third career start. Plenty to like about that win as she does have plenty of scope for improvement and the step up to 2000m looks a real plus. Stable rider sticks as he did have a choice of this ride or High Impulse. Eachway chance.

***

BENDIGO (VIC)
TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: True Entire Circuit

RACE 3 No: 7 SUN QUAN – Won a recent Cranbourne trial in good fashion without being pressured for the run to the line. Monitor any betting moves. Big Watch

RACE 6 No: 3 WHISTLE BABY – Both runs this preparation have been good without winning and she does always improves with racing. Out to her best trip from the good gate will be on speed or taking a sit, she’ll be hard to beat if she can get any luck in running. Ready to win.

RACE 9 No: 9 UNBREAKABLE – Looks to have come back well this preparation. This is a touch harder but no weight from the good gate he won’t be doing any work early and he should be charging home late. Winning Chance.

***

DOOMBEN (QLD)
TRACK: (HEAVY 10) – RAIL: 3.5 metres Entire Course.

RACE 5 No: 13 QUATRONIC – Had excuses last start (Galloped on) after strong win when resuming. Handles all track conditions. Smart when right and should be hard to run down. Big threat.

RACE 8 No: 2 OURBEEBEE – In top form since resuming from his spell. Getting up in weight and steps up in trip. Soft ground suits )2/2) and can be fighting out the finish again. Winning chance.

***

RACE 2 No: 4 MODEL DRAGON – Good effort resuming where she ran on well in a race where the tempo didn’t suit her at all. Should get a genuine speed up front, look for her finding the line late. Hard to beat.

RACE 7 No: 4 GAME OF WAR – Ran on well last time after getting further back than he normally does. Maps perfectly to have a sit on the leaders here and charge at them late. Ready to win.

We at OneSelection2Win would like to wish all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

RANDWICK (NSW)
TRACK – (HEAVY 9)

RACE 2 No: 13 MORE THAN FABULOUS – Placed at Rosehill last start. Peaks third-up. Comes right into play as her form grows a leg or two in the wet. Wel weighted with the 3kg allowance for the apprentice and is a great eachway chance. Both Totes.

RACE 4 No: 8 UPSCALE – Putting together an excellent record with four wins from seven starts and chasing the hat trick here after successive wins at Rosehill. First go at 1200m but gets all the favours from the inside gate and right in the mix again.

RACE 6 No: 15 MISS DEBUTANTE – This lovely filly has had a tremendous campaign, recording two dominant and exciting wins and this race has been in her sights all along. She can sit on the pace or just off it, she’s fit and flying on the track and is a very strong winning chance.

RACE 7 No: 7 FABRIZIO – Has been 46-days since an easy win on Melbourne Cup Day. Won a recent Rosehill trial to keep up to the mark. Only blot was the Epsom (G1) went too quick that day to be rundown late. Highly promising and is the one to beat.

***

FLEMINGTON (VIC)
TRACK – (GOOD 4)

RACE 3 No: 1 MISS WONDERLAND  – Resumed with a nice effort here over the Flemington carnival to run 3rd. Fitter and has been kept fresh for this event. Has found a winnable race. Ready to get back in the winners circle.

RACE 5 No: 3 BOOM TIME – Flying this campaign and still has upside at just his fourth run back in this current prep. Has a tricky gate to continue with here, inform and will be fighting out the finish again. Hard to beat.

RACE 7 No: 10 GALLIC CHIEFTAIN – Dominant last start at Ballarat and the form from that race has stacked up since. Will need a touch of luck from the wide gate he’ll be hard to beat if he gets cover for the first half of the race. Winning chance.

***

DOOMBEN (QLD)
TRACK – (GOOD 4)

RACE 4 No: 4 DOUBT DEFYING – Showed promise at first preparation. Will be improved by his recent outing in strong 3YO company (Winning Rupert) will find this alot easier. On the limit is a real plus, watch for him charging home late. Win won’t shock.

RACE 6 No: 7 SAGA MISS – We are sticking as they say a mare inform you stick. Is in a purple patch of form winning 4 of her last 5 starts. Drawn well to receive a super run, up in class a touch to offset this she’s on the limit. Hard to beat.

***

MORPHETTVILLE PARKS (SA)
TRACK – (GOOD 3)

RACE 6 No: 8 SWEET MELODY – Lightly raced ex-NZ galloper that not unusually is another that seems to have grown a leg since joining this strong Weir Stable. In a race with not much depth, getting in just 0.5kg above minimum expect this mare to be horribly hard to beat in this.

RACE 7 No: 13 RAMESSES – Has been flying this preparation without winning. Fully fit now 3rd run in, watch for him closing late. Ready to win.

OneSelection2WinWeekendRacingMail

Welcome to OneSelection2Win Weekend Racing Mail for Saturday 19th November where we have come with our mail for each of the main meetings around the country.

ROSEHILL (NSW)
TRACK – (GOOD 3)

RACE 2 No: 9 DAGNY – Been impressed with the way this mare has returned to racing this time round, broke her maiden at Kembla in fine fashion, then straight to the mid-week Canterbury meeting to settle towards the back of the field to really motor home to finish it off strong for a soft win in the end. Looking for this distance range now and should be hitting the line late to stake her claim again. Go Close.
(LATE SCRATCHING)

RACE 5 No: 6 LE CORDON BLEU – Super run fresh to run 3rd to beaten a length to Spieth & Kaepernick who has since franked the form with there next runs. Fitter and has been kept fresh for this, drawn an inside gate to race a touch closer in the run and should be in the mix to be fighting out the finish.
(UNPLACED)

RACE 9 No: 13 SALMANAZAR – Resumes and a Rosehill trial winner leading into this. Won successive races at Toowoomba and the Sunshine Coast last preparation and has to be respected here fresh from an ideal gate.
(UNPLACED)

***

BALLARAT (VIC)
TRACK – (GOOD 4)

RACE 1 No: 2 CHEEKY BABE – Racing in peak form since joining the Darren Weir stable. In well with the apprentice claim and a perfect run in transit will see her tough to beat again.
(PLACED – 2ND)

RACE 5 No: 5 GALAXY RAIDER – Has always showed plenty and looks ready to go on with it now he’s broken through in good style 2nd up. Third up should be hitting peak fitness now, stays in touch he’ll be hard to beat.
(PLACED – 2ND)

RACE 7 No: 6 SPEEDEOR – Extremely smart colt that has returned to racing this preparation unbeaten. Very impressive winner on Melbourne Cup Day showing a turn of foot to put the race away in a few strides. Plenty of upside that should bring up three wins on the trot. Best Bet on the card.
(WINNER – $2.80)

***

EAGLE FARM (QLD)
TRACK – (GOOD 4)

RACE 8 No: 9 BETTER LAND – Looked a touch unlucky at Doomben where he just seemed to caught in traffic and found trouble in the run home to finish it off late to grab a minor share of the prize money. Third up, should be peaking now. Extra distance and only try at this track resulted in a win, all goes well that he’ll give a big another big sight.
(PLACED – 3RD)

RACE 9 No: 10 LORD COCONUTS – Held up in the straight and travelled wide at Doomben last start (Total forgive run). Can get back but better suited here on this spacious track where he won at his previous start and should be running on late.
(UNPLACED)

***

MORPHETTVILLE PARKS (SA)
TRACK – (SOFT 5)

RACE 2 No: 2 NORTH SKY – Lightly raced and warrants respect on last start win here. Should be peaking now being third run in for this current preparation, distance suits as he did find the line late. Leading chance.

OneSelection2WinWeekendRacingMail

Welcome to OneSelection2Win Weekend Racing Mail for Saturday 22nd October Cox Plate Day at Moonee Valley where we have come up with our best for each meetings around the country.

MOONEE VALLEY (VIC)
TRACK – (SOFT 5)

RACE 5 No: 1 LADY LE FAY – Brings some very strong Sydney form lines and should be right at her top third run back. With a perfect run she’ll take some beating. Hard to beat.
(UNPLACED)

RACE 8 No: 1 GALLANTE – He was very impressive when hanging on to second to Jameka last start when first up in the Group III Naturalism Stakes. The extra trip will suit nicely and he’ll prove hard to run down. Go close.
(UNPLACED)

COX PLATE SELECTION
RACE 9 No: 10 YANKEE ROSE – Winx hard to beat, looking for value in the race. High class filly that will have no problems with the trip. She does no work with the feather weight. It’s a tough ask for fillies but she will run a huge race at the odds. Both Totes.
(PLACED 3RD – $3.00)

RACE 10 No: 1 PRIZED ICON – Brings some very strong form from Sydney and he’ll have no trouble running out the trip. From the good gate he’s tough to beat.
(UNPLACED)

***

RANDWICK (NSW)
TRACK – (SOFT 7)

RACE 5 No: 8 ROCK FORTHE LADIES – Placed at Randwick resuming with a big weight. Drops nicely in weight going up in class a touch. Has finished in the placings both second-up runs and expected to be right in the finish again from an ideal gate. Winning chance.
(WINNER – $3.80)

RACE 6 No: 1 VASSAL – Hit the line strongly when a close third at Randwick second-up. Won third up last preparation and a winner at the track and distance. Ready to win.
(UNPLACED)

RACE 8 No: 2 HAPPY HANNAH – Finished her race off nicely when placed in the Angst second-up. Won third-up last preparation and ready to win at the same stage of her preparation here. Hard to beat.
(PLACED 3RD)

***

EAGLE FARM (QLD)
TRACK – (GOOD 4)

RACE 7 No: 10 BIDII BABE – Shows plenty of promise and placed at Doomben in this Class last start. Has won both outings here and should get a good run throughout. Winning chance.
(WINNER $3.90)

RACE 8 No: 3 PRIVLAKA – Won here when resuming two starts back. Fought on well in a strong field at Doomben and should be handy throughout and will look the winner in the straight. Strong chance.
(PLACED – 2ND)

***

MORPHETTVILLE PARKS (SA)
TRACK – (SOFT 5)

RACE 2 No: 2 SHAMKIYR –  Lightly raced and bears watching on a nice third last start. Solid effort placed here last start.  Has the ability. Ready to win.
(PLACED 3RD)

RACE 4 No: 2 NORTHERN LASS – Promising filly shooting for winning hatrick. Absolutely demolished Pretty Punk (subsequent Listed winner!) two starts back….obviously those formlines stack up big time for this. Also gives every indication this longer trip will suit-strong claims again.
(PLACED 3RD)
