Saturday Racing Mail – (17th June)

oneselection2winlogo

OneSelection2WinSaturdayRacingMail

Welcome to OneSelection2Win Saturday Racing Mail for Saturday 17th June where we have come with our mail for each of the main meetings around the country.

ROSEHILL (NSW)
TRACK: HEAVY (8) – RAIL: True

RACE 3 No: 2 ZAMEX – Soft win here in the Highway two weeks back. He will improve off the run and the steps up in trip that will suit. Trainer Matt Dunn is building a terrific record in the Highways and we expect that to continue. Winning chance.

RACE 4 No: 2 UPSCALE – Hit the line strongly fresh here in open company to just miss the placings (4th). Form has been franked with The Monstar (3rd) winning last Saturday at Randwick. Strips fitter and out to the 1200m suits. Top show.

RACE 8 No: 7 CARZOFF – Former import hit the line strongly in his first start at Warwick Farm at the mile. Fitter, extra distance looks to be more to his liking. Hugh sticks is a good sign, can go one better here. Hard to beat.

***

MOONEE VALLEY (VIC)
TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: +3m Entire Circuit

RACE 4 No: 11 ROYAL RUBY – Racing in excellent form this preparation in some handy three-year-old races. Meets an even bunch of older mares here and should sit handy to the speed in a race that looks to have limited speed. Super chance to go back to back.

RACE 7 No: 8 COLDSTONE – Luckless with the big weight and being trapped three and four wide the trip to go down narrowly. Drawn to receive gun run and be saved for the last crack at them in the straight. Ready to win.

***

IPSWICH (QLD)
TRACK: (SOFT 7) – RAIL: True

RACE 2 No: 13 ASSERTORY – Has been a model of consistency being in the money all four runs here. Loves the sting out of ground so conditions won’t be a factor. Both Totes.

RACE 6 No: 9 HOT MONEY – In top form winning three of his last four starts. Leading rider goes on is a real plus, should be camped on speed and with the nice weight drop (5kg) should stake his claim again. In form likes the wet and will take a power of beating.

***

MORPHETTVILLE (SA)
TRACK: (GOOD 4) – Rail: Out 2m 1800m-1200m; True the Remainder

RACE 2 No: 2 SUPER HAZE – Dominant winner here in similar grade last time when leading throughout for a strong win. Has drawn to get the same run throughout. Take a power of beating. Go Close.

RACE 5 No: 4 NEAPOLITAN – Resumes here and does have a great record fresh. Fitted up with a recent trial (Morphettville) to have her ready for strong first up performance. Watch for any betting moves.

***

ROSEHILL (NSW)
RACE 8 No: 7 CARZOFF – Former import hit the line strongly in his first start at Warwick Farm at the mile. Fitter, extra distance looks to be more to his liking. Hugh sticks is a good sign, can go one better here. Hard to beat.

MOONEE VALLEY (VIC)
RACE 4 No: 11 ROYAL RUBY – Racing in excellent form this preparation in some handy three-year-old races. Meets an even bunch of older mares here and should sit handy to the speed in a race that looks to have limited speed. Super chance to go back to back.

Weekend Racing Mail – (Saturday 17th September)

cropped-eye1.jpg

OneSelection2WinWeekendRacingMail

Welcome to OneSelection2Win Weekend Racing Mail for Saturday 17th September, we have come up with our best for each meetings around the country.

RANDWICK (NSW)
TRACK – (SOFT 5)

RACE 3 No: 8 GUARD OF HONOUR – Resumes on the back of a strong Wyong trial win (2nd: Clearly Innocent). Warwick Farm winner only run last preparation with leading rider on, Hugh Bowman sticks is a plus. Receives a soft run from the inside gate. Win won’t shock.

RACE 4 No: 6 GLOBAL GLAMOUR – Impressive Kembla winner only run in her first preparation. Handled the turn awkwardly when fresh but got going late when placed in the Furious to run third. Natural improvement with added fitness now, possibly ridden a touch closer. Tommy Berry sticks, Strong claims.

RACE 8 No: 8 TSARITSA – Promising mare who didn’t have the race run to suit when placed at Randwick fresh. Appears to be more early speed here and if that’s the case she will be strong late. Hard to beat.

RACE 9 No: 9 DAYSEE DOOM – Runner-up on the back of successive trial placings at Randwick. Unbeaten in three runs in her first preparation, looks to be a promising horse in the making. Claim brings her in half kilo over the limit. Strong winning chance.

***

CAULFIELD (VIC)
TRACK – (SOFT 7)

RACE 3 No: 2 SERENELY DISCREET – She’s come back well with a good first up win at Morphettville, Fitter and the soft track is no problem as she has a 100% record in the wet. Straight into the box seat, she’ll be in the finish. Stable doesn’t bring to Melbourne unless they show something at home. Eachway.

RACE 5 No: 13 KACHING – Was dominant last start winner at Bendigo, longer trip will suit. With any luck from the gate in the early stages of the race will enhance his chances. Will be flying home late. Both Totes.

RACE 7 No: 9 THE VIRGINIAN – Promising sprinter with a Stradbroke placing in his first preparation to Under The Louvre / Black Heart Bart. He’s trialled well for his return to racing with strong 1000m win. Drawn to receive soft run. He’ll be strong late. Winning chance.

RACE 8 No: 4 REAL LOVE – Ran a huge race fresh without much luck. Perfectly suited out to this trip. Does have great record 2nd up with two wins from three attempts, winning jockey back on is another plus. Eachway with the price on offer.

***

EAGLE FARM (QLD)
TRACK – (SOFT 7)

RACE 1 No: 1 EMERALD CITY – Ran on well at his 2nd start back at the Sunshine Coast. The 3kg claim helps and this distance will suit now with the added fitness now. Go close.

RACE 7 No: 14 BOUND FOR LOVE – In top form and beat subsequent winner San Telmo easily last start. Rises in grade here but with only 52.5kg will give a great sight. Inform on definite winning chance.

***

MORPHETTVILLE (SA)
TRACK – (HEAVY 9)

RACE 3 No: 2 BIRDS OF TOKYO – Absolute mudlark that has obviously relished recent wet tracks. Should only find this easier than than latest strong efforts-really does appear extremely hard to beat.

RACE 6 No: 2 ILLUSTRIOUS LAD – Resuming. Blew his rivals away when came with a big run to score last start here. Noted very good fresh galloper that will absolutely get this run to suit with likely strong pressure on up front. Watch for him to be motoring late-don’t dismiss. Take beating.

***

BEAUMONT – NEWCASTLE (NSW)
TRACK – (SOFT 6)

RACE 4 No: 3 BEZEL – Has won both his trials leading into this. Finished a close second at Canterbury last May only run in his first preparation and the one to beat resuming in a provincial maiden.

RACE 5 No: 10 TAWFIQ BOY – Ran into a smart one on debut at Scone before having plenty on a maiden field at Kempsey last start. Looks more than capable of working through the grades.

GOOD LUCK & GOOD PUNTING

AL MAHER x HELL IT’S HOT 2YO COLT

‘Stellar colt, size, strength – Impossible to fault’

Al Maher x Hell It's Hot Colt

GAI WATERHOUSE BANNER
To be trained by: Gai Waterhouse (Randwick)

By the GROUP 1 AUSTRALIAN GUINEAS WINNERAL MAHERSIRE OF GROUP 1 WINNERSDELICACY, ALMALAD, FAT AL & DIAMOND DRILLE

Out of HELL IT’S HOTWINNER and PRODUCER of 4 FOALS to RACE FOR 4 WINNERS

GAI WATERHOUSE COMMENTS:
‘MAGNIFICENT, BIG, STRONG – SO TYPICAL OF THE AL MAHER BREED’

GAI LOVES this COLT and has TRAINED some of the BEST HORSES by AL MAHER including – DIAMOND DRILLE, FAT AL & ALMALAD all to GROUP 1 WINS!

When the name ‘Al Maher’ is mentioned to Gai, three words that feature prominently in her response are ‘toughness’, ‘honesty’ and ‘brilliance’. We talk about the value of a stallion ‘stamping their stock’ or passing on many of their own traits and I can think of no greater example of this than Al Maher. Winning over $1.1 million in prize money, which included a win in the Group 1 Australian Guineas, Al Maher raced consistently at the highest level. Trained by Gai, she knew exactly what it took to prepare this great colt and it has not stopped at Al Maher himself. He has produced three Group 1 winners, all trained by Gai. She has also trained King Lionheart and Pheidon to secure victory at Group 2 level. This feat is unmatched by any other trainer, she truly is the best at getting the most out of this family.

POWERFUL SPRINTER / MILER / MIDDLE DISTANCE COLT

GREAT STRENGTH, POWER with PLENTY OF BONE and MUSCLE

GOOD DEPTH of GIRTH for LUNG CAPACITY

ELIGIBLE for the LUCRATIVE INGLIS RACE SERIES

GOLDEN SLIPPER / GOLDEN ROSE / BLUE DIAMOND ELIGIBLE / NOMINATED

Mark Holland: ‘I love this colt – great mover, great shoulder, great hip to hock, presence and power’ – GAI should have another Group horse on her hands!

Scott Darby: ”Stellar colt, impossible to fault, size, strength, athleticism’ – One of the colt’s of the year!

Steven McIvor: ‘Lovely colt with good shoulder and forearm with plenty of bone to support, excellent hindquarters, athletic quality colt with presence, super walk’ – A must have colt the pick of the sale! (Straight to Gai Waterhouse)

Weekend Racing Mail – (Saturday 9th July)

cropped-eye1.jpg

OneSelection2WinWeekendRacingMail

Welcome to OneSelection2Win Weekend Racing Mail for Saturday 9th July, we have come up with our better bets around the country.

RANDWICK (NSW)
TRACK – HEAVY 9

RACE 3 No: 4 MOST EXALTED – Hasn’t finished worse than fourth in six runs this preparation including a Canterbury win two runs back. Runner up over 1900m at Canterbury last start. The 2000m at Randwick suits. (UNPLACED)

RACE 5 No: 8 BURNING PASSION – Just missed this track and distance last start and meets the winner better at the weights. 28-days between runs but has won a trial in the interim. Ready to win. (WINNER- $5.50)

RACE 6 No: 5 EL NOVIO – Model of consistency this preparation resulting getting a well deserved win at his latest run. Has been kept up to the mark with a recent trial to keep him ticking over for this race today. The step up in distance will be in his favour and he has won on a wet track. Strong showing is expected. Hard to beat. (UNPLACED)

***
FLEMINGTON (VIC)
TRACK – SOFT 7

RACE 2 No: 1 EURO ANGEL – Highly promising filly that’s not in too bad against the main chances. The way she won fresh she is on her way to better races , she’s clearly the one to beat. (PLACED – 2ND)

RACE 7 No: 3 CHANCE TO DANCE – Big run against the pattern of the day last start at the Valley. Much better suited onto the big Flemington track, he’ll be hard to hold out. (UNPLACED)

RACE 9 No: 5 TELOPEA – Never runs a bad race and was only run down by a handy mare last start. With a well-timed run she’ll be right in the finish again. (WINNER- $3.00)

***

DOOMBEN (QLD)
TRACK – GOOD 4

RACE 2 No: 6 DIVINE SERVICE – Racing well of late and with no weight on his back for the 3kg allownace for apprentice Sarah Elibeck. Will be on speed and could prove very to catch at this circuit. Hard to beat. (UNPLACED)

RACE 5 No: 6 CODE NOIR – Resuming. Showed plenty of promise in good company last preparation. Trialling well and can show up fresh. Watch for any betting support. (PLACED – 3RD)

RACE 8 No: 6 SECRET TRAIL – Resuming. Won in similar company here before spell. Trialling well and will be hard to beat with Damian Browne aboard. (UNPLACED)

***

MORPHETTVILLE PARKS (SA)
TRACK – SOFT 7

RACE 1 No: 2 SHOWPERO – Was most impressive when a dominant all the way winner on debut. Formlines through that race have since stacked up well. Has since had a six week freshen-up-this seriously doesn’t appear much tougher. Looks very hard to beat again. (WINNER- $3.00)

RACE 5 No: 4 ASCENDANCE – Pacey type that appears to have returned to racing in fine style this prep. Scored strong win when a well supported fav 1st-up before far from disgraced in two much tougher subsequent outings. Likely big improver here against these. (WINNER- $5.00)

RACE 8 No: 7 SUPER FUN – This bloke really has returned to racing in outstanding fashion winning 3/4 starts this time in. Before this prep was generally regarded as a ‘gunna’ horse that mainly filled the placings. Again down in the weights suggest he deserves plenty of respect here. (WINNER- $3.20)

OneSelection2WinWeekendRacingMail

Welcome to OneSelection2Win Weekend Racing Mail for Saturday 11th June, we have come up with our better bets around the country.

IMG_0008

EAGLE FARM (QLD)
RACE 1 No: 9 MY COUNTRY – Put in a good effort to win narrowly against older horses at Kembla when resuming. Should be improved and will get a good run throughout. Both totes. (WINNER- $10.00)

RACE 3 No: 3 GHISONI – Highly promising and won easily last start against a number of these. Has won at this distance and should be hard to beat again. (UNPLACED)

RACE 4 No: 17 TSARITSA – Every year around this time one from the Chris Waller camp stamps themselves as a future star at the Queensland Winter carnival. Has won dominantly both starts this preparation and I fully expect her to continue on her winning way. (WINNER- $3.90)

RACE 8 No: 1 HOWARD BE THY NAME – Ran on solidly at first Queensland outing to be charging to just miss by under a length. Has won at 2500m winning the SA Derby two starts back so this distance won’t cause any concerns. Drawn favourably to receive the soft run throughout the race. Will be flying late. Go close. (UNPLACED)

***

RANDWICK (NSW)
RACE 5 No: 1 SPIETH – Promising three-year-old chasing a hat trick of wins. Up to 60kg but that shouldn’t stop him. The one to beat again. (SCRATCHED)

RACE 7 No: 7 VASSAL – Import from the Chris Waller stable who has been impressive working through the grades winning last three on the trot. Has been kept up to the mark with a recent trial at Warwick Farm with a day out. Nothing to suggest he won’t be right in the finish again. Hard to beat. (PLACED 2ND)

***

FLEMINGTON (VIC)
RACE 2 No: 6 EURO ANGEL – Impressive filly when we saw her last in work winning on debut (Randwick) then was a touch unlucky over the 1400m. Fit for a couple of soft jump outs in Melbourne. She’ll handle any conditions and be tough to beat. Monitor any betting moves. (WINNER- $3.90)

RACE 3 No: 14 WALL STREET WOLF – Hard held the last time we saw him in when he won a public trial in February by six lengths on the Geelong synthetic. Betting a big watch. (PLACED 3RD)

RACE 6 No: 8 WHOOP WHOOP – Promising stayer crying out for this trip. With a nice run midfield or better he’ll take beating. (WINNER $2.90)

***

MORPHETTVILLE PARKS (SA)
RACE 2 No: 5 TURBO STREET – Thought this bloke was terrific when hitting the line strongly late when not finishing far away in tougher Melb race. Did win 2nd-up last prep and suggest the rise to this trip will suit. (PLACED 3RD)

RACE 7 No: 9 LIVING LARGE – Resuming. Lightly raced McEvoy galloper that looked to display plenty of promise when last in work. Super impressive when scoring by 4L 1st-up last prep in the wet. Recent trial very good-absolutely respecting. (UNPLACED)

PROFIT – 10.70pts
