ROSEHILL (NSW)
TRACK: HEAVY (8) – RAIL: True

RACE 3 No: 2 ZAMEX – Soft win here in the Highway two weeks back. He will improve off the run and the steps up in trip that will suit. Trainer Matt Dunn is building a terrific record in the Highways and we expect that to continue. Winning chance.

RACE 4 No: 2 UPSCALE – Hit the line strongly fresh here in open company to just miss the placings (4th). Form has been franked with The Monstar (3rd) winning last Saturday at Randwick. Strips fitter and out to the 1200m suits. Top show.

RACE 8 No: 7 CARZOFF – Former import hit the line strongly in his first start at Warwick Farm at the mile. Fitter, extra distance looks to be more to his liking. Hugh sticks is a good sign, can go one better here. Hard to beat.

***

MOONEE VALLEY (VIC)
TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: +3m Entire Circuit

RACE 4 No: 11 ROYAL RUBY – Racing in excellent form this preparation in some handy three-year-old races. Meets an even bunch of older mares here and should sit handy to the speed in a race that looks to have limited speed. Super chance to go back to back.

RACE 7 No: 8 COLDSTONE – Luckless with the big weight and being trapped three and four wide the trip to go down narrowly. Drawn to receive gun run and be saved for the last crack at them in the straight. Ready to win.

***

IPSWICH (QLD)
TRACK: (SOFT 7) – RAIL: True

RACE 2 No: 13 ASSERTORY – Has been a model of consistency being in the money all four runs here. Loves the sting out of ground so conditions won’t be a factor. Both Totes.

RACE 6 No: 9 HOT MONEY – In top form winning three of his last four starts. Leading rider goes on is a real plus, should be camped on speed and with the nice weight drop (5kg) should stake his claim again. In form likes the wet and will take a power of beating.

TRACK: (GOOD 4) – Rail: Out 2m 1800m-1200m; True the Remainder

RACE 6 No: 2 GINGERNUTS – Been impressive at his last 3 starts in New Zealand including the Group 1 NZ Derby (2400m) where he was slowly away to find the long strongly to win by a length. Does have good wet form back at home. Slight concern he has to come back to the (2000m), will be finding the line strongly. Both Totes. (WINNER – $7.00)

RACE 7 No: 12 SHE WILL REIGN – Explosive in her first three wins and lost no admirers with a brave second in the Reisling on a very heavy surface when the winner found the fast lane on the outside fence. Has won twice on wet surfaces (Soft 8 & Heavy 9). Expecting her to bounce right back here as we will know where the best place to be on the track come race time. Winning Chance. (WINNER – $8.50)

***

FLEMINGTON (VIC)
TRACK: (GOOD 4) – RAIL: True Entire Circuit

RACE 2 No: 7 BASTILLE – Two from two and looks a smart type. Gets a good jockey change here and will get a great run in the box seat behind the favourite. On straightening, he should have the turn of foot to put the race away. Can continue on his his winning ways. Big threat. (PLACED – 2ND)

RACE 5 No: 6 TOSEN STARDOM – Made gun stablemate (Black Heart Bart) work to beat him fresh. Has won 2nd up twice, fitter for that recent run and the step up to the mile suits. Starts short since the stablemate has been scratched. Ready to win. (PLACED – 2ND)

***

GOLD COAST (QLD)
TRACK: (SOFT 7) – RAIL: True Position Entire Circuit

RACE 2 No: 7 LIEDER – Rarely far away in his races. Can find it hard to win but suited this distance and will get every chance with Damian Browne to ride. Ready to win. (WINNER – $3.70)

RACE 4 No: 6 DYLAN’S LUCK – Knows how to find trouble in his races but did win here two starts back and should be handy throughout the run from the good gate. Soft ground will suit. Go close. (UNPLACED)

TRACK: (GOOD 4) – Rail: Out 5m 1000m-W/Post; Out 3m the Remainder. Sectional 606m

RACE 1 No: 8 GOLDEN LUSTRE – Competitive race here in the opening event. Liked the way the Philip Stokes trained two-year-old filly trialled as there’s been some good early
market support for her. Expect her to be in the finish. (UNPLACED)

Drawn to receive the run of the race either leading dictating the pace or taking a sit and be saved the last crack at them in the straight. Major player. (UNPLACED)

SANDOWN LAKESIDE (VIC)
TRACK: GOOD (3) – RAIL: +6m Entire Circuit

RACE 6 No: 5 ROSTI – Strong through the line on debut at Ballarat over the 1200m, longer trip does appear to be in his favour. A soft run midfield will have him hitting the line hard.
